Abstract
THE REPORT DESCRIBES THE PHYSICAL FACILITIES OF THE BROOKLYN SUPREME COURT, THE DUTIES OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE JUDGE, AND THE JURY SELECTION PROCESS. THE CALENDARING SUBSYSTEM IS DIVIDED INTO THREE TERMS- CIVIL, CRIMINAL, AND SPECIAL. THE MANNER IN WHICH COURT RECORDS ARE HANDLED IS ALSO OUTLINED. OTHER SUBSYSTEMS STUDIED ARE - CRIMINAL INTAKE, CONSUMER, AND SENTENCING. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS A LIST OF PERSONS INTERVIEWED.
