This report describes the accomplishments during 1994 of the European Network of Policewomen, as well as the organization's activities since its founding in 1989.
Abstract
The main objective of the Network is to make optimal the position of female police in the police agencies in Europe. Specific activities include training, information exchanges, a biannual conference and seminars, promotion of mutual support, advice and counseling, and public relations. The Network has issued publications, established the International Equal Opportunities Information and Documentation Center, published a quarterly newsletter, established networks within individual countries, produced a videotape, and held conferences. Funding has come from the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and donations from other European countries and police organizations. Maps, photographs, and lists of board members and country contact persons
