THE MOVEMENT WAS CHARACTERIZED BY LOOSE ORGANIZATION, CHANGING LEADERSHIP, SECRET MEETINGS, AND GROWING COMMITMENT TO INTERNATIONAL THEORIES OF REVOLUTION. BOMBINGS, VIOLENCE, KIDNAPPING WERE ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY ITS MEMBERS FOR THE CAUSE OF LIBERATION.
