GENESIS is the base management application software installed in the automated recordkeeping system in the Valley Division of the San Bernardino County Municipal Court District in Fontana, Calif.

Abstract

The software is the property of ISD Corporation and has separate modules for traffic cases, civil cases, small claims cases, and criminal cases. All modules have integrated accounting functions and automatic disbursement of funds. Each system module has a system control menu that contains supervisory functions necessary for operational security and integrity of the system. On-line help is provided for all fields throughout the system. File, record, and screen-level security are supported by the application software. The software products are supported on Data General MV series 32-bit super minicomputers. ISD Corporation offers user training at their office in Riverside, Calif. The GENESIS system provides flexibility to the user through extensive use of tables containing user-defined codes. The software products provide a court of medium to large jurisdiction with an opportunity to significantly improve the management of their caseloads and fine and fee collection through automation.
