This survey, conducted by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Analysis Center, examines customer satisfaction with the services provided in relation to grants received from the Governor's Crime Commission in 2009.
Abstract
Results of the survey indicate that the Governor's Crime Commission (GCC) grants management specialists are viewed favorably by grantees and that they respond to inquiries by grantees in a timely manner (85 percent of survey respondents). Eighty-one percent of the survey respondents agreed that the overall grant adjustment process was efficient or worked well, over 84 percent agreed that the GCC's grant management forms were clearly written and user-friendly, and 84 percent responded that the GCC's planners responded in a timely manner when contacted. These responses came from an 18-item questionnaire administered to project directors from agencies in North Carolina that received GCC grant funding between July 1, 2007, and December 31, 2008. The customer satisfaction survey was conducted by the GCC's Criminal Justice Analysis Center in an effort to enhance the level of satisfaction, improve services provided to potential and current grantees, and to maintain and improve the business process. Of the 337 surveys sent to project directors, 122 completed surveys were returned for an overall response rate of 36 percent. Figures, photos, and copy of the survey
