Abstract
This report from the Bureau of Justice Assistance provides information to recipients of Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) grants on how to respond to performance measures. The PDMP performance measures were developed for four areas: inputs - the ingredients of the system that allow it to work; outputs - the actual work performed by the system; outcomes - the immediate effects attributable to the system; and impacts - the ultimate results that the system seeks to achieve. In a question and answer format, this report provides guidance to grant recipients on answering performance metrics questions as required under grant guidelines. The questions are presented as they relate to the following measures: training, solicited and unsolicited reporting, "doctor shopping," coroner's reports, and technical assistance. Figures and tables
