THIS MONOGRAPH EXAMINES THE FUNCTIONS AND NEEDS OF AN APPELLATE DEFENDER'S OFFICE AND PROVIDES SUGGESTIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS APPLICABLE TO OFFICES ON A STATE, LOCAL, AND REGIONAL BASIS.
Abstract
THIS IS ONE IN A 35 VOLUME SERIES WHICH IS DIVIDED INTO 6 MAJOR VOLUMES BY CONCEPT. THE VOLUMES ARE SYSTEM PLANNING, COURT PLANNING, PROSECUTION PLANNING, DEFENDER PLANNING, JUVENILE AND FAMILY COURTS, AND COURT SYSTEM MODELING AND ANALYSIS. THE SERIES IS WRITTEN IN NONTECHNICAL LANGUAGE TO APPEAL TO A CROSS-SECTION OF USERS. THE GUIDELINES ARE ARCHITECTURAL IN FOCUS, BUT ARE INTENDED TO ASSIST JUDGES, COURT PLANNERS, ADMINISTRATORS, PROSECUTORS, AND DEFENDERS IN SELECTING AND IMPLEMENTING PROPER PROGRAMS FOR THEIR JURISDICTIONS.
