THIS MONOGRAPH EXAMINES THE FUNCTIONS AND NEEDS OF THE JUVENILE AND FAMILY COURT INTAKE PROCESS AND PROVIDES SUGGESTIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS APPLICABLE ON A STATE, LOCAL, OR REGIONAL BASIS.
Abstract
THE MONOGRAPH IS ONE IN A THIRTY-FIVE VOLUME SERIES WHICH IS DIVIDED INTO SIX MAJOR VOLUMES BY CONCEPT. THE VOLUMES ARE SYSTEM PLANNING, COURT PLANNING, PROSECUTION PLANNING, DEFENDER PLANNING, JUVENILE AND FAMILY COURTS, AND COURT SYSTEM COMPUTER APPLICATIONS. THE SERIES IS WRITTEN IN NON-TECHNICAL LANGUAGE TO APPEAL TO A CROSS-SECTION OF USERS. THE GUIDELINES ARE ARCHITECTURAL IN FOCUS, BUT ARE INTENDED TO ASSIST JUDGES, COURT PLANNERS, ADMINISTRATORS, PROSECUTORS, AND DEFENDERS IN SELECTING AND IMPLEMENTING PROPER PROGRAMS FOR THEIR JURISDICTIONS.
