Abstract
THE FIRST SECTION AND ITS SUBSECTIONS ARE DESIGNED TO GIVE THE NON-LAWYER AN OVERVIEW OF STATE COURTS: FUNCTION AND OPERATIONS, BASIC CONCEPTS AND DEFINITIONS, STRUCTURE AND JURISDICTION.
