THE AUTHORS STRESS THE POSSIBILITY OF DANGER IN EVEN THE MOST SEEMINGLY ROUTINE SITUATIONS. SPECIFIC SITUATIONS ADDRESSED INCLUDE TRAFFIC STOPS, SUSPECTS IN BUILDINGS, AND HANDLING BARRICADED PERSONS. PROPER PLANNING IS RECOMMENDED ALSO.
