This film presents commercials of varied lengths which emphasize the importance of calling the police whenever there is something suspicious and helping to stop crime.
Abstract
Produced by the Governor's Council on Criminal Justice in Florida, the commercials show a woman viewing a loiterer from her window and debating whether or not to call the police; two men fleeing in a car; a shoplifter dropping an item from a store shelf into her bag; and a woman being dragged into a car screaming. The ads also underscore the importance of the stop-crime message by depicting stop-crime stickers on telephones. The commercials are recommended for use on television.
