Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE CREDIT ASSOCIATION ARE TO ENCOURAGE THE BROADEST USE OF CONSUMER CREDIT CONSISTENT WITH SOUND BUSINESS PRINCIPLES AND COMMUNITY WELFARE, TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF CREDIT GRANTERS AND CUSTOMERS, TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE PROPER USE OF CREDIT, TO COUNSEL AND PROTECT CUSTOMERS GOING INTO DEBT BEYOND THEIR ABILITY TO PAY AND SAFEGUARD CREDIT STANDING, AND TO COOPERATE WITH OTHERS IN MATTERS AFFECTING THE BUSINESS WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY AND THE PUBLIC GOOD.
