Abstract
The directory identifies resources related to adoption and foster care, animal rights, community action, consumer services, counseling, criminal justice, corrections, day care, disaster relief, emergency services, discrimination, domestic violence, and drug and alcohol abuse and prevention. Additionally, the directory lists resources in the areas of education, elderly services, employment services, family planning, family support and parenting, government offices, handicapped and rehabilitative services, health associations and services, housing services, legal services, nursing and personal care homes, recreation, sexual assault, self-help and support groups, veterans services, and youth support. Each directory entry gives the name and address of the resource agency, the telephone number, and a brief description of services provided.
