Abstract
The mission of the court is to administer justice in a balance approach guided by the values of community protection, accountability, competency, and individualization. Court data is presented for the following: Number of trials and hearings conducted; Comparison of detention costs over the last 5 years; Number of youth committed to youth services including Community Correctional Facilities; Complaints docketed in 2013; Disposition of abused, dependent, and neglected children; Violations named on delinquency, unruly, and traffic complaints; Sources of delinquency, unruly, and traffic complaints; Residences and Ages of delinquent, unruly, and traffic offenders; and Dispositions of delinquent, unruly, and traffic complaints. Information is also provided on services provided by the court, including Internships, the Community Service Learning Program, Mediation, Intervention Court, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA); and the Reach Our Youth (ROY) volunteer organization.
