Abstract
This volume of Identification Canada contains two main articles that cover forensic identification issues. The first article, "Oil Red O versus Physical Developer for Web Substrates: A Comparative Study," compares the use of Oil Red O with traditional physical developers in fingerprint identification. The second article, "Three-Dimensional Test Impressions of Footwear using Home Made Play Dough," examines the use of homemade play dough to create three dimensional test impressions of footwear. Other sections include Training and Society Business. The Training section lists the 2006 course schedules for the Ontario Police College and the Canadian Police College, as well as the schedule for Bloodstain Courses. The section on Society Business includes a Message from the President, information on the CIS Conference and membership renewal, as well as guidelines for authors and a membership survey.
