Abstract
THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JUVENILE COURT AS CONCEIVED BY THE CONTEMPORARY MOVEMENT TOWARD REFORM ARE IDENTIFIED AND THE CORRESPONDING PROCEDURES AND CAPABILITIES REQUIRED FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE OBJECTIVES ARE CONSIDERED. THE PROBLEMS THAT MUST BE OVERCOME TO INSURE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF NEWER JUVENILE JUSTICE PATTERNS ARE DEFINED.
