THIS REPORT PRESENTS THE RESULTS OF A STUDY CONCERNED WITH IMPROVING THE ENFORCEMENT OF DRIVER LICENSE DENIALS.
Abstract
SUSPENSIONS, REVOCATIONS, CANCELLATIONS, WITHDRAWALS OR OTHER RESTRICTIONS ARE CALLED DENIALS IN THIS REPORT. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY WAS TO IDENTIFY AND PROPOSE EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR IMPROVED ENFORCEMENT OF DENIALS AND IDENTIFICATION OF NEEDED PROGRAMS OF RESEARCH TO DEVELOP IMPROVED TECHNIQUES FOR ENFORCEMENT THROUGH RESEARCH. REVIEW OF PERTINENT LITERATURE AND REPORTS, AND INTERVIEWS, METHODS TO ADMINISTER AND ENFORCE LICENSE DENIAL AND THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH VARIOUS MEASURES WERE STUDIED. THE CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THIS STUDY ARE BASED ON THE ANALYSES OF FINDINGS FROM THE SURVEY AND RESEARCH. THERE ARE CHARTS, TABLES, AND A BIBLIOGRAPHY. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
