STUDY OF HOW BEING A VICTIM INFLUENCED THE DEVELOPMENT OF DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR OF 62 INMATES OF A JUVENILE DETENTION AND CLASSIFICATION HOME IN JAPAN.
Abstract
THE STUDY WAS BASED ON A QUESTIONNAIRE ADMINISTERED TO THE JUVENILES AS WELL AS ON A REVIEW OF THEIR BACKGROUND RECORDS. THE STUDY FOUND THAT VICTIMIZATION SOMETIMES REINFORCED A TENDENCY TOWARD DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR IN CASES WHERE THE TENDENCY WAS ALREADY DEVELOPED. --IN JAPANESE. SUMMARY IN ENGLISH
