Abstract
Participants learn about various categories and types of transfers including international and interjurisdictional transfers and transfers to special handling units. The module covers the transfer decisionmaking and authorization processes, the standards and procedures for involuntary transfers, classifications of institutions, the requirement for thorough and proper transfer documentation, and the relationship between the duty to act fairly and involuntary transfers.
