Abstract
The agency established an electronic requisition system to assist facilities in hiring, extended the useful life of vehicles through an active repair and maintenance program, and reduced costs of clothing for inmates and personnel by establishing central warehousing. Its records offices calculated 21,621 inmate sentences, processed 18,941 inmates to parole and 9,658 medical furloughs, and handled the records relating to court appearances of 8,927 inmates. Adult institutions had 36,557 inmates on November 30, 1994, while community correctional centers had total populations of 1,235. The adult prison population is projected to be 39,987 in November 1995. Tables, photographs, and map
