Also included are data regarding racial- ethnic distribution by institution, parole population and movements by commitment type, a movement summary, and monthly movement detail; parole racial-ethnic distribution by region; and a glossary of terms and definitions concerning institution population movements, parole population movements and racial-ethnic groups. Data describing monthly prison populations and movements for March 1993-March 1994 are provided.
