Abstract
The papers were first published between 1969 and 1996. The first three papers examine the status of criminological integration and discuss the meanings and ways of integrating theories or formulating relations among them, a postmodernist perspective on criminological integration, and whether competition among criminological theories is empirical rather than theoretical. Additional papers examine the integrations involved in neocolonial and postcolonial theories; interpretations and models of integrative juvenile delinquency; and general and integrative approaches to crime, criminal behavior, and crime control. The final papers explore the future and the need for integration, with emphasis on the reasons why criminologists need to be engaged in the theory and practice of integration.
