Abstract
The first module provides an overview of the intensive community-based aftercare project and the intensive aftercare program (IAP) model. The second module discusses integrated theoretical underpinnings and underlying principles of programmatic action, followed by a description of organizational factors and the external environment in IAP planning. The manual focuses on case management, highlighting concepts in assessment and classification and individualized case planning, surveillance techniques and programming/services provision, balanced incentives and graduated consequences, and service brokerage with community resources and linkage with social networks. The final module presents specifications on management information and program evaluation.
