Abstract
THE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS DIVIDED INTO FIVE SECTIONS. SEVEN GENERAL REFERENCES AND SURVEYS OF CONTEMPORARY TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE BOOKS AND A STUDY, PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1968 AAND 1975. FIFTEEN BOOKS AND JOURNAL ARTICLES PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1971 AND 1976 EXPLAIN AND EVALUATE TERRORISM. TEN DISCUSSIONS OF POSSIBLE RESPONSES TO INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM, PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1973 AND 1976, DISCUSS EFFORTS TO DEVELOP INTERNATIONAL CONVENTIONS AND INDIVIDUAL STATE RESPONSES TO TERRORISM. SEVEN BOOKS PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1956 AND 1972 PRESENT VIEWPOINTS AND GUIDES TO ACTION BY ADVOCATES OF TERRORISM. SIX LITERARY WORKS PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1938 AND 1974 PROVIDE PERSPECTIVES ON BOTH THE GOALS AND THE TACTICS OF TERRORISM.
