Abstract
The concept of probability is introduced, then several major topics are considered. They include the basic terms in probability (experiment, event, compound event, simple event), and an explanation of simple events. Experiments utilizing simple and compound events are discussed, and the calculation of the probability of a compound event is described. Finally, mutually exclusive events are outlined. Introductions to conditional probability, independent events, independent trials, and multiple trials where the events are not independent are presented. The frame number on which each topic begins is provided. In addition, a worksheet has been included with the program to give students more experience with the types of problems discussed. The worksheet may be duplicated for use along with the program; answers to the problems are included in the teacher's guide. Instructions for presentation and a script are also included.
