Abstract
THE IOWA JUVENILE SYSTEM IS MADE UP OF THE FLOWS BETWEEN AND THROUGH SEPARATE AGENCIES. FOR EACH AGENCY, THE FLOW OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH THROUGH PRE-INTAKE, INTAKE, PROCESSING, AND TRANSFER ALTERNATIVES CAN BE TABULATED AND PROJECTED. THE RAW DATA TABULATED FOR PRIOR YEARS ARE TRANSFORMED INTO PROPORTIONS AND PROBABILITIES. THIS REPORT DEALS WITH THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE JUVENILE POPULATION BASE AND PROJECTION FOR 1970, 1975, AND 1980. COMBATING JUVENILE DELINQUENCY (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
