This report describes the major activities, revenues, expenditures, and financial condition of the John Howard Society of Ontario.
Abstract
Highlights included efforts to mobilize community support for a protest of the building of a maximum-security institution in a remote location and a call for the abolition of mandatory supervision. Other activities were the revision and expansion of the society's position on pardons and formation of a subcommittee to find new funding sources and to reduce the society's dependence on government contracts. Photographs, financial statements, the auditor's report, a list of officers and staff, and addresses of branch offices are provided.
