Abstract
THE AFFECTED AGENCIES INCLUDE THE IOWA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, JOHNSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, UNIVERSITY OF IOWA SECURITY OFFICE, AND THE CORALVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT. RECOMMENDATIONS CALL FOR THE SHARING OF A COMMON FACILITY FOR ALL AGENCIES EXCEPT THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS FORCE AND FUNCTIONAL CONSOLIDATION OF RECORDS, TRAINING, INVESTIGATION AND IDENTIFICATION SERVICES, RECRUITMENT AND TESTING, CENTRALIZED PURCHASING, AND JAIL AND DETENTION SERVICES FOR ALL FOUR AGENCIES.
