Abstract
FEDERAL AGENCIES PARTICIPATING IN THE CONFERENCE WERE THE LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATION (LEAA), THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA), AND THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE ON ALCOHOL ABUSE AND ALCOHOLISM (NIAAA). THE CONFERENCE DEVOTED A SEPARATE WORKSHOP SESSION TO EACH OF THREE COMMON PROBLEM AREASTHE VIOLENT AND NON-VIOLENT ALCOHOL-RELATED OFFENDER, THE PUBLIC INEBRIATE, AND THE DRINKING DRIVER. APPENDIXES TO THE PROCEEDINGS PRESENT THE CONFERENCE PROGRAM AND A ROSTER OF PARTICIPANTS, PROFILES OF THE AGENCIES REPRESENTED, AND LISTINGS OF STATE ALCOHOLISM AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PLANNING AUTHORITIES.
