Abstract
THE TEXT PRESENTS SOME GENERAL INDICATIONS OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL SYSTEMS OF MEMBER STATES, DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE COMPOSITION AND COMPETENCE OF THE COURTS OF THESE STATES, AND ALSO THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE BEFORE THE COURTS. THIS INFORMATION IS COMPLETED BY STATISTICS ON THE NUMBER OF COURTS, JUDGES, CASES HEARD, ETC. FOR EACH STATE THE WORK CONTAINS A CHART DESIGNED TO GIVE THE READER AN OVERALL PICTURE OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE VARIOUS TYPES OF COURTS, THE HIERARCHY OF THESE COURTS, AND THE MACHINERY OF RIGHTS OF ACTION.
