Abstract
This issue contains six selected articles: 1) Cooperation and Convergence - Judiciaries and the Profession examines how the diverse judiciaries and legal professions of the Commonwealth can cooperate and converge; 2) Sentencing in the 21st Century examines the recent history of sentencing methodology in New South Wales; 3) The labyrinthine Nature of Federal Sentencing examines the intricacies of Federal sentencing; 4) Uncommon Statutory Interpretation examines the proper approach to interpreting statutes; 5) "Cross-over kids" - Childhood and Adolescent Abuse and Neglect and Juvenile Offending examines the causes of the over-representation of children in State care in the juvenile justice system; and 6) Consistency and the Commonwealth Sentencing Database examines consistency in the application of sentencing principles for Federal offenses between State and Territory courts.
