Abstract
THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE IMPROVEMENT IN JUROR UTILIZATION OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR, HOWEVER SLIGHTLY OVER SIX MILLION DOLLARS OUT OF A TOTAL EXPENDITURE ON JURORS OF $16,617,000 WAS SPENT BY THE JUDICIARY FOR JURORS NOT SERVING IN TRIALS. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED).
