Abstract
Papers, prepared and delivered at plenary sessions followed by workshops looked at the increasing complexity of litigation, rising crime rates, emerging area of new law and growing population. Major areas discussed were interrelationships in a judicial system, organization of a judicial system, organization of state trial courts, administration of courts, and standards for judiciary. Establishment of a national center for state courts was proposed and has been adopted. Basic and special problems in criminal justice are presented. An extensive, annotated bibliography provides reference material on all phases of judiciary.
