Abstract
The standards cover Pennsylvania's juvenile probation merit system, juvenile court masters, jurisdictional procedures, police procedures relative to juvenile courts, juvenile court intake, hearing procedures, juvenile court dispositions, juvenile court records, and management information systems. The standards also encompass victim/witness services, secure detention under Pennsylvania's Juvenile Act, alternatives to secure detention, delinquency involving a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, disposition and treatment of juvenile sex offenders, intensive probation services, aftercare services, judicial review of dependent and delinquent children in placement, and restitution and community service programs.
