Abstract
Data on delinquency cases cover the number of cases processed, sex, age, race, home conditions, reason for referral to court, place of detention, case disposition, and previous court experience. Data on dependency-and-neglect cases address the number of cases; childrens' age, sex, color, and nativity; place where the child was living when referred to the court; parents' marital status; source and reason for referral to the court; place of detention; and case disposition. Data on Federal juvenile offenders cover the numbers of offenders brought to the attention of the U.S. probation officers, received in jails and held pending trial, discharged from detention, and placed under supervision or received under sentence in jails and in Federal institutions. 74 tables.
