Abstract
THE JURISDICTION OF THE JUVENILE COURT, PRESCRIBED AND PROSCRIBED PROCEDURES FOR LEGAL PROCESSING OF OFFENDERS FROM INITIAL ARRAIGNMENT THROUGH POSTADJUDICATION, COURT STRUCTURE AND STAFFING, PROVISIONS FOR OFFENDERS' RIGHTS AND DUE PROCESS, AND DISPOSITION ALTERNATIVES ARE ALL DISCUSSED IN RELATION TO JUVENILE STATUTES. FOR EACH OF THESE TOPICS, THE RANGE OF LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS IN THE LAWS ARE DESCRIBED AND FOOTNOTES LISTING THE SPECIFIC STATES GOVERNED BY EACH GENERAL RANGE OR STATUTE ARE GIVEN.
