Abstract
THE SUPREME COURT SET FORTH CERTAIN DUE PROCESS PROTECTIONS FOR JUVENILES, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO COUNSEL AND TO CONFRONTATION AND CROSS EXAMINATION. THE EFFECT OF THESE DECISIONS ON JUVENILE COURTS WHICH HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY NONADVERSARIAL IS DISCUSSED. REFERENCE IS ALSO MADE TO RELEVANT STATE LEGISLATION.
