This directory lists the agencies, facilities, and personnel in Texas that are relevant to the work of juvenile probation agencies in the State.
Abstract
The names and addresses are provided for Texas Juvenile Probation Commissioners as well as the Texas Advisory Council on Juvenile Services, followed by an organization chart for the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission. A telephone directory is also provided for those who work in the various divisions of the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission; job titles are listed. A listing of the names, addresses, contact persons, and phone numbers of State agencies encompasses health and human service agencies, parole offices, State schools and halfway houses, and other State agencies pertinent to the work of juvenile probation. State legislators are listed by county, as are juvenile officials. An alphabetical listing of juvenile justice personnel encompasses chief juvenile probation officers, chairmen of juvenile boards, designated juvenile court judges, masters and referees of juvenile courts, county and district juvenile prosecutors, certified juvenile probation officers, and certified juvenile detention officers. The directory also contains listings of juvenile probation detention facilities by county and juvenile probation department jurisdictions by county and county number.
