THIS STUDY DESCRIBES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF A PROJECT TO PROVIDE ORIENTATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION TO THE KENTUCKY BENCH PURSUANT TO NATIONALLY-ADVOCATED CRIMINAL JUSTICE STANDARDS.
Abstract
THIS PROJECT WAS INVOLVED WITH THE PROVISION OF FACULTY FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; THE ENHANCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL LIBRARIES AND LIBRARY FACILITIES FOR COURT AND COURT-RELATED PERSONNEL; THE SPONSORING, COORDINATION, AND CONDUCTING OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR LIMITED JURISDICTION, CIRCUIT COURT, AND APPELLATE PERSONNEL; AND THE SPONSORING OF TRAINING FOR PERSONS IN THE COURT SUPPORT AREAS (COURT REPORTERS, SECURITY PERSONNEL, CLERKS, AND COURT ADMINISTRATORS). COMPLIANCE WITH AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE GOALS ARE DESCRIBED.
