This March 2013 issue of Law and Order Magazine contains eight primary articles dealing with training for law enforcement personnel. The first article, Probing Techniques in Barricaded Suspect Operations, discusses the use of "probing techniques" for dealing with barricaded suspects. The second article, On-Duty Workout Programs: Pro & Con, discusses the use of daily fitness regimens for on-duty police officers. The third article, Prepare for a Major Event, discusses how Florida law enforcement agencies prepared for the Republican National Convention. The fourth article, Surviving Handcuffing, provides guidelines for handcuffing suspects. The fifth article, Training for Armed Reserves & Auxiliaries, discusses how the Volunteer Law Enforcement Officer Alliance can be of assistance in reserve officer training. The sixth article, Low Light Patrol Tips, provides information for officers patrolling in low-light situations.
