Abstract
THE COURSE WAS DEVELOPED AS AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOUTHS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND TO IMPROVE POLICE-COMMUITY RELATIONS. THE COURSE MAKES USE OF SUCH METHODS AS PANEL DISCUSSIONS, FIELD TRIPS, FILMS, LECTURES, AND DEMONSTRATIONS, CONDUCTED PRIMARILY BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AND COMMUNITY PERSONNEL. THIS DOCUMENT PROVIDES WEEK-BY-WEEK OUTLINES OF THE COURSES GIVEN AT EACH OF THE THREE AREA HIGH SCHOOLS, DAILY LISTS OF TOPICS AND SPEAKERS, LISTS OF FIELD TRIPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS, READING LISTS, AND OTHER DESCRIPTIVE AND COURSE-RELATED MATERIALS.
