Abstract
SPECIFIC TOPICS COVERED IN THE SEPTEMBER COUNCIL MEETING INCLUDED THE RESULTS OF A MEETING WITH A LEAA DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR, THE MODEL ALARM BUSINESS LICENSING STATUTE BEING DEVELOPED BY THE COUNCIL, THE STATUS OF A MODEL PRIVATE SECURITY REGULATORY STATUTE, AND SUMMARIES OF PRESENTATIONS ON THE POSSIBILITY OF DEVELOPING STANDARDS AND GOALS FOR PRIVATE SECURITY. THE DECEMBER ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING CONTINUED DISCUSSION ON MANY OF THE TOPICS RAISED IN THE SEPTEMBER MEETING.
