Abstract
TECHNIQUES FOR DEALING WITH RAPE VICTIMS, BASED ON CRISIS INTERVENTION THEORY AND THE PARTICULAR NEEDS OF THE VICTIMS, ARE SUGGESTED. THROUGH FACILITATIVE COUNSELING THE OFFICER CAN PROVIDE EXPANDED AID AND ASSISTANCE TO CITIZENS WHILE CREATING AN ATMOSPHERE CONDUCIVE TO A MORE EFFECTIVE INVESTIGATION.
