Abstract
THESE LESSON PLANS PROVIDE TEACHERS WITH SPECIFIC LESSONS ON EACH CONCEPT WHICH HAVE BEEN USED SECCESSFULLY IN CLASSROOMS AT THEIR GRADE LEVEL AND WHICH THEY MAY USE IN THEIR OWN CLASSROOMS WITH SUITABLE MODIFICATION. THE LESSON PLANS ARE BASED UPON ONE OR MORE OF THE BEHAVIORAL OBJECTIVES OUTLINED UNDER EACH TOPICAL QUESTION AT EACH GRADE LEVEL BLOC AS DESCRIBED IN THE 'CURRICULUM' FOR EACH CONCEPT. FOR EXAMPLE, A LESSON ON THE CONCEPT AUTHORITY AT THE K-2 LEVEL MIGHT BE BASED UPON TOPICAL QUESTION E, 'HOW CAN AN INDIVIDUAL OR INDIVIDUALS IN AUTHORITY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE?' AND BEHAVIORAL OBJECTIVE 2, 'STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO DECIDE UPON FAIR AND EFFECTIVE MEANS OF HOLDING PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR EXERCISE OF AUTHORITY IN SPECIFIC SITUATIONS'. ALSO PROVIDED ARE MODELS FOR DEVELOPING LESSON PLANS BASED ON THE 'CURRICULUM' (NCJ-12563). FOR THE OTHER VOLUMES ON THE CONCEPT OF AUTHORITY, SEE NCJ-12562, AND 12563.
