Abstract
A DISCUSSION OF THE RATIONALE BEHIND THE LAW AND THE CONSEQUENCES IF IT IS NOT PROPERLY ENFORCED INTRODUCES EACH SECTION. LAWS OF ARREST ARE DESCRIBED UNDER THE CATEGORIES OF JURISDICTION, SEIZURES OF PERSONS WITHOUT FORMAL ARREST, THE ARREST WARRANT, ARREST WITHOUT WARRANT, MAKING THE ARREST, AND COMPLETING CUSTODY OF THE ARRESTEE. LAWS OF SEARCH ARE ORGANIZED AS OBSERVATIONS WITHOUT INVADING PRIVACY, SEARCH BY VALID CONSENT, INVADING PRIVACY BY SEARCH WITH SUFFICIENT REASON, AND THE CONDUCT OF A SEARCH.
