This book details systemic issues found in encounters with the U.S. mental health system, and presents practical solutions that would solve the problems the nation is facing.
Abstract
The author notes that, while there is much that is good and wonderful about America, there is also much that is wrong and troubling, including government intrusion into the people's everyday lives. Liberty & Mental Health sheds light on many practical solutions that are readily available to solve the nation's mental health crisis, but that are often ignored as they are not hugely profitable, politically or economically favorable for liberal and conservative officials to work together, or suited to the political motivations to label people mentally ill.
