Abstract
This article examined the relationship between the victims' demographic, economic, and situational characteristics and their decisions to call the police by using the multivariate modeling technique of loglinear analysis. The results indicate that the victims' decisions to call the police are not dependent upon their demographic, economic, and situational characteristics. 4 tables, 54 references. (Author abstract)
