AMONG THE LIABILITIES ASSUMED BY BANKS WHICH SELL COMPUTER SERVICES TO OTHERS IS AN OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL AND ELECTRONIC SECURITY FOR THE COMPUTER.
Abstract
COMPUTER CENTERS REQUIRE MUCH TIGHTER SECURITY THAN THE BANK. LOCATING THE COMPUTER AWAY FROM THE BANK ITSELF WILL PROVIDE ACCESS FOR THE EDP CUSTOMER WITHOUT BREACHING THE BANK BUILDING'S SECURITY. EMBEZZLEMENT THROUGH THE USE OF THE BANK'S OR CUSTOMER'S DATA MUST BE GUARDED AGAINST.
