The 1987-1988 annual report of Maryland's Division of Parole and Probation describes the Division's mission, structure, functions, and responsibilities.
Abstract
The first section reviews the Division's mission, agency and program structure, and budget, while the second section examines personnel administration, staff development and training, automated case management, and budget and fiscal management. The third section overviews the Division's field operations, including parole, special case management, and criminal investigation services. Case management services are covered in detail in the fourth section, and it is noted that the Division experienced a dramatic increase in the number of cases under supervision during 1987-1988. Finally, the Division's administrative regions, drunk driver monitoring program, and pretrial release services are considered. 23 tables, 11 figures.
