This report presents statistics, organizational structure, and highlights of fiscal 1982 activities for the Maryland police and correctional training commissions, which have the authority to set standards of initial selection and training for entrance and inservice levels for law enforcement and correctional personnel.
Abstract
Highlights of the year's activities focus on staff reorganization, correctional training academy operations, law enforcement training operations, police officer certification, and the Training Management Information and Enforcement System. Other highlights relate to changes in rules and regulations, the resource center cost recovery system, resource center operations, the hazardous materials training program, and the sheriff's training project. Charts portray staff organization, budget appropriations and actual expenditures, nonbudgeted Federal grant estimates and actual expenditures.
